O Lord whose lotus navel is the source of the divine life-force,
whose inner essence is the nectar of immortality, and whose sacred fire blazes within;
Grant me the state where the mind remains steady and unshaken,
where there is no wavering or attachment, and where the supreme path of wisdom shines.
May I overcome Yama (the lord of death), attain the freedom of moving through the vast skies of consciousness,
and converse effortlessly in the highest spiritual state.
Bless me so that the sense of “I” and “you” disappears,
so that I see myself in all beings and all things in myself,
transcending even the deepest states of meditation and thought.
O Lord, like the sacred river flowing over the mountains,
like the clouds of divine beings spreading across the worlds,
your grace pervades all the seven worlds.
Like the vast cosmic form of the great illusionist (Māyān),
whose form extends beyond measure and fills the entire universe,
your supreme state transcends all boundaries.
O youthful Lord, son of the lotus-born Brahmā’s abode,
dwelling beyond the celestial spheres,
riding the beautiful blue-feathered peacock,
shining with divine splendor.
O Lord Perumāl, the pure cloud of compassion,
the endless ocean of mercy,
the immeasurable mountain of grace,
the great one worshipped by the devas —
shower your boundless compassion upon me.
