மன்றலங் கொந்து

O Lord, the maidens with fragrant, flower-like hair, whose tresses are followed by swarms of humming bees, intoxicate the mind with their sweet words. Their lips are nectar-like, and they embrace with overflowing love, drawing one into the softness of their broad, pot-like breasts.

Their single, sharp eyes, like tender calves, and their charming limbs make me fall into the deep pit of worldly desire. Save me by granting me the refuge of Your feet — the feet adorned with your tinkling anklets, golden ornaments, and beautiful garlands of kadamba flowers.

O Son of the Lord who bears the boar-like tusk and the great elephant-faced One (referring to divine associations), O beloved child of the gods who removed the ancient suffering of the celestials, O brother of the learned one (Ganesha), O Lord of Vayalur where parrots play in cages and sing sweetly,

You who went to the mountain-dwelling tribe and accepted the daughter they offered, and who dwell amidst groves filled with blooming champaka flowers and golden blossoms,

O Great Lord who resides on the sacred southern hill of Tirupparankunram, where the moon, the red sun, and the clouds themselves come to rest — please bless me and make me reach Your divine feet.
