I offer to You chickpeas, pigeon peas, sesame, flattened rice, puffed rice, sweet sugiyan, vadai, roasted plantains, nectar-like delicacies, ripe fruits, jackfruit, and many other wholesome offerings.

May the earth, nourished by the oceans, flourish with abundant vegetation and prosperity. May these sacred offerings delight Your divine heart. Bestow Your compassionate grace upon me, and let me rejoice forever in Your blessed mercy.

O Muruga, the six-faced Lord who appeared after Ganesha, He who has the great elephant-like belly! Before folding my hands in reverence, shedding tears of devotion, and worshipping You,

will I continue to wander helplessly, trapped in the pit of attachment to women, burdened by terrible accumulated karma, poverty, humiliation, and endless sorrow?

You are the One who rushed across the vast ocean to grant boons, causing Yama, the god of death, to tremble with fear. Even the Sun and Moon were struck with awe, and the earth shook violently at Your mighty advance.

The heads of the cruel demons were shattered with crashing sounds; mountains broke apart with thunderous noise. Your incomparable spear blazed with the radiance of the rising sun, shining with a fresh green brilliance.

Mounted upon Your dancing peacock, swift as a celestial horse, You travel around the worlds. The sound of Your graceful footsteps resounds melodiously, while sages worship You.

The gods, freed from captivity, shower fragrant flowers upon You, chanting "Hara! Hara!" O beautiful Lord who dwells gloriously in the sacred fortress of Saravana, I bow before You.
