அறத்துப்பால் › அதிகாரம் 5 — இல்வாழ்க்கை
அன்பும் அறனும் உடைத்தாயின் இல்வாழ்க்கைபண்பும் பயனும் அது.

Anbum araanum udaiththaayinn ilvaazhkkai Panbum payanum adhu.

If domestic life is filled with love and virtue, that itself is its refinement and fruit.

அன்பும் அறமும் உள்ள இல்வாழ்க்கை இருந்தால், அதுவே அதன் நற்பண்பும் பயனும் ஆகும்.
💡 English Meaning
Love (anbu) and virtue (aram) together make domestic life both beautiful (panbu = refinement/quality) and fruitful (payanu = result/reward). The two ingredients of a complete household: love makes it pleasant, virtue makes it meaningful. Together they create a life that is both good to live and good in its effects.
