Kaakka porulaa adakkathhai aakkam Adhanin oongke peridhu.

Guard restraint as a precious possession; the gain from it is greater than any other gain.

அடக்கத்தை விலையுயர்ந்த பொருளாக காக்க வேண்டும்; அதனால் வரும் ஆக்கம் வேறு எதையும் விட பெரியது.
💡 English Meaning
Treat restraint as your most precious treasure — more valuable than wealth, property, or status. The 'gain' (aakkam) from restraint exceeds all other gains. This is because restraint protects all other gains and creates the conditions for sustained success.
