🔤 Transliteration

Nirai mozhi maandhar perumai nilathu Marai mozhi kaatti vidum.

🌐 English Translation

The Vedas (sacred scriptures) will reveal the greatness of perfect-worded persons (sages) to the world.

நிறைந்த சொற்களை உடைய சான்றோர்களின் பெருமையை மறைகள் (வேதங்கள்) இந்த நிலவுலகில் காட்டி நிற்கும்.

💡 English Meaning

The sages' greatness is proven and preserved by the sacred scriptures themselves. Their words and the Vedic words align — the sage's speech has Vedic authority. This kural gives renunciants their highest credential: the Vedas themselves testify to their greatness. Perfect speech (niraimozhi) = Vedic truth.
