Anbeenum aarvam udamai adheenum Nan punarvu naadiya yaakkai.

Love gives earnestness; earnestness gives good wisdom; good wisdom gives the body that seeks (liberation).

அன்பு ஆர்வத்தை கொடுக்கும்; அந்த ஆர்வம் நல்லறிவை கொடுக்கும்; நல்லறிவு மோட்சத்தை நாடும் உடலை கொடுக்கும்.

A chain of causation: Love → Earnestness/Enthusiasm → Good wisdom → A body that seeks liberation. Love is the first cause of the entire spiritual journey. Without love there is no enthusiasm; without enthusiasm there is no wisdom; without wisdom there is no spiritual seeking. Love is the root of all spiritual progress.
