மதிக்கண் மறுப்போல் உயர்ந்து.
Any fault in a person of good descent stands outnlike the wart on the moon of the sky.

நலத்தின்கண் நாரின்மை தோன்றின் அவனைக்
குலத்தின்கண் ஐயப் படும்.
If lack of compassion is seen while considering the welfare of others,naspersions are cast on their ancestry.
