Thiruppavai (The Holy Vow) — 30 Tamil verses by Andal, the only female Azhwar saint. Sung every morning during Margazhi (Dec-Jan), one verse per day. Andal describes young women waking before dawn to worship Lord Krishna-Vishnu. She personally merged with Lord Ranganatha at Srirangam at age 15.
